Sprinkler watering a new lawn at sunrise
Installation & aftercare

Give your new lawn the best possible start.

Turf is a living product. Good preparation, prompt laying and consistent watering make all the difference.

Prepare before delivery. Roll turf out within 24 hours in autumn or winter, and immediately in spring or summer. Lay in straight rows with close end joints, staggering subsequent rows like brickwork. Work from scaffolding boards and press gently for good soil contact—never use a roller on freshly laid turf.

Turf affected by insufficient watering, heavy shade, poor maintenance, toadstools or fusarium cannot be replaced, as these conditions are beyond our control.
